Thank you, IRS New Carrollton Chapter, for electing me to serve as your President. I am excited about the opportunity to serve you and to further the mission, objectives and goals of Blacks in Government.
My goals for the year include:
• Equipping you, as BIG members, with the necessary tools to accomplish your career goals
• Growing our membership base and extending outreach to young, emerging leaders to position them to carry forward our mission
• Increasing Community Outreach through advocacy and charitable giving
• Establishing trust and open communication with IRS management
I will utilize every opportunity to affirm our great organization, tell our history, purpose and what we stand for. I encourage each of you to do the same.
